Opposed Blade Dampers (Non-Directional)

Opposed blade dampers allow for airflow to be adjusted without changing direction. They fit snug into duct openings and blade manipulation is accomplished with a screwdriver. OBD’s are sold in whichever color we have in stock, either silver or black.
Dimensions: Overall length and width will be 1/8″ less than the listed duct opening size. Depth/thickness is 2-1/8″ for all sizes. For example, a damper for a 10″ x 6″ duct will be 9.875″ x 5.875″ x 2.125″.
Opposed blade dampers are non-directional, as opposed to our directional louvers which can be adjusted to direct air in one of two directions.
Note: It is not practical to install both a damper and directional louver in a single duct opening. We recommend choosing either/or. If control of air volume is more important, choose the damper; If control of direction is more important, choose the louver.
